Mathew Chakola is the founder and CEO of Maryland Paper Company, California Paper Products, and Alabama Paper Products. He is also partnered in the construction and operation of the California based manufacturing facility, GMC Roofing. Mathew received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala (India) and his master's in Engineering Mechanics from Widener University (USA). Following graduation, Mathew served as the project manager in the construction of several large-scale facilities under the companies Flintkote in Dallas, Texas and TAMKO in Frederick, Maryland, as well as completed a variety of contributions regarding emerging laser technology for Laser Applications Inc in Westminster, Maryland. These roles provided the experience and motivation for the cultivation of Chakola’s own manufacturing empire, constructing three recycling paper mills and partnering in the construction of a roofing material manufacturing facility. Chakola still serves as the President of all three companies.
